Course Description

This course is designed to prepare students entering into the Deaf Education Graduate Program and Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist Credential Program with specialized knowledge. Topics to be covered focus on deaf learners, cognition, American Sign Language acquisition and development. English language acquisition and development, verbal development, and written language development. This is an online course which will require the students to participate in some project based learning.
