Course Description

Learn to use project management software to develop a schedule, assign resources to tasks, track the progress, manage the budget, and analyze workloads for an ongoing project. This is NOT an introduction to project management, but teaches the concepts and skills for using project management software in the workplace. Upon completing this class, students will be able to: ¿ Use subtasks, dependencies, deadlines and resources ¿ Report project information to stakeholders ¿ Set up tasks and trace their paths ¿ Learn critical paths ¿ Project costs ¿ Create a project schedule The workshop also provides training and experience with project management tools and techniques, including work breakdown structures, network diagrams, and other tools.
