Course Description

This 45-hour workshop provides the participants with a basic literacy of the four religions originated in India, known as Dharma Traditions. More specifically, the workshop focuses on the study of history, religious beliefs, philosophy, ethics, rituals and organization of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. While examining the complex systems of doctrines, myths, and religious rituals of these traditions, we will also explore the historical development of these traditions and cultural literacy.
